Wellam Constructions is a locally based civil construction company seeking the services of an experienced civil construction supervisor working in the subdivision sector. You will be based within the Geelong region.
Minimum 2-3 years of civil construction supervision experience is required.
Experience in residential developments preferred.
Required skills/knowledge:
* Ability to apply practical engineering disciplines within the workplace in relation to: earthworks, sewer, stormwater drainage, water, gas, power/comms and road construction.
* Ability to supervise and manage company employees and subcontractors effectively in order to achieve construction programs within timeframes to a high standard.
* Ability to be self motivated and to work as part of a team.
* Ability to apply knowledge of local council sub-divisional standards and procedures
* Ability to apply knowledge of various types of plant used in the Civil Construction industry to perform tasks in an efficient, cost effective, and practical manner.
* Ability to apply knowledge of OH&S requirements to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
