The Opportunity
We are seeking a capable and motivated individual to join our Refinery Services team as a Team Leader. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring that resources are used effectively to achieve production targets.
Reporting to the Refinery Production Chemist, you will coordinate day-to-day activities, motivate team members, and support the efficient running of the refinery services area.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, direct, and coach team members to achieve production goals.
* Coordinate resources and allocate tasks to maintain consistent output.
* Perform and oversee packing and product handling activities.
* Conduct stock takes and manage chemical orders in Syspro.
* Maintain equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
* Enter production data and maintain accurate records.
* Drive productivity through planning, organisation, and teamwork.
About You
You are an experienced and practical leader who enjoys working with your team to get results. You take initiative, communicate clearly, and keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
* Experience in food processing or refinery operations (advantageous).
* Current driver's licence.
* Forklift licence (preferred).
* Strong computer skills, with experience using Syspro desirable.
