Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practice, a passion for teaching and learning, and will be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs of Freshwater Christian College. The teacher will seek opportunities to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and the wider College community.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
* Appropriate tertiary qualifications in teaching
* Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or the ability to obtain)
* Full alignment with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College
* Ability to affirm the College's Statement of Faith
* Compliance with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality
* Ability to work with all members of the College community
* Willingness to assist in extracurricular activities after normal working hours
* Legal permission to work in Australia
