Mount Carmel College is a vibrant Early Learning Centre to Year 10 Catholic girls' school in Sandy Bay, Hobart. Our College has a proud history dating back to 1847, founded by the Sisters of Charity. Today, we continue their legacy by nurturing, challenging and caring for every student.

Bus Driver / Groundsman
Ongoing, part time position
20 hours per week
Monday - Friday, school term time only
7.30am - 9.30am and 2.30pm - 4.30pm
We are seeking someone who can bring:

* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
Your work will include (but is not limited to):
* Assist the Property Manager and Utility Officer with works around the school grounds including, but not limited to, gardening, mowing, small repairs, painting and delivery of items.
* Provide a safe, welcoming and timely transportation service for Mount Carmel College students and staff, to and from the College.
* Ensure the inside and outside of the bus is left in a clean and tidy condition at the conclusion of any journey.
* Ensure appropriate behaviour by student passengers (see Tasmanian Bus Association Code of Behaviour).
* Conduct defined pre-driving checks of bus and relevant safety equipment and the immediate reporting of any vehicle maintenance issues to the Business Manager.
