About the Role
This is a casual opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment, where you'll be part of a team that shares our vision to inspire readers and empower lifelong learners. As a seasonal bookseller, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and engaging experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome and connect with customers in a warm and genuine way
* Recommend books with enthusiasm and knowledge
* Work collaboratively with your team to achieve sales targets
* Maintain store presentation, ensuring our bookstores are well-organised, easy to navigate and clean
Requirements:
* Able to work on the floor for extended periods
* Lift boxes of stock up to 15kg
* Able to climb a ladder safely
* Flexible availability, including late night trading and weekends
