About the Role

Main Responsibilities
* Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality quantity surveying services.
* Cost Management: Oversee cost planning, estimation, and ongoing cost management for various property and infrastructure projects.
* Detailed Reporting: Prepare accurate cost reports, tender documentation, and financial analyses to support decision-making and project delivery.
* Feasibility Studies: Conduct financial feasibility studies and value engineering to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved outcomes.
* Expert Advisory: Provide strategic advice on procurement strategies, contractual matters, and risk management.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Experience: A minimum of 2–4 years of experience working as a client-side Quantity Surveyor in Australia.
* Project Delivery: Demonstrated experience providing full project services for major property and infrastructure projects.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CostX and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
* Professional Accreditation: Corporate membership or working towards accreditation with AIQS or RICS.
* Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and clarity.
* Analytical Abilities: Advanced analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional client-facing and relationship management skills.
* Team Player: Strong organisational skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Time Management: Proven ability to manage deadlines and work across multiple projects simultaneously.
