Your New Role and Responsibilities
We're looking for a Systems Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders, translating complex system requirements into clear documentation and turning business needs into actionable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements through workshops, interviews, and process reviews
* Produce clear technical documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and system architecture overviews
* Act as a liaison between engineering teams, business stakeholders, and project managers throughout the delivery lifecycle
* Evaluate existing systems and workflows, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
* Support testing activities including UAT coordination, test case development, and defect tracking
* Contribute to change management activities, including end‐user guides, training materials, and release communications
What You'll Bring to Make An Impact
* Extensive experience in systems engineering and/or business analysis
* Strong technical writing skills – able to produce documentation that is accurate, concise, and accessible to both technical and non‐technical audiences
* Comfortable working with software systems, databases, and infrastructure at a conceptual and practical level
* Experience with process modelling tools (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io) and documentation platforms (e.g. Confluence, SharePoint)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – confident facilitating requirements sessions and presenting to varied audiences
* Familiarity with Agile and/or ITIL frameworks
Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes – if you meet most of them, we encourage you to submit your application. We're most interested in your strengths, what you want to learn and how far you want to go.
