**Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Wanted**
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Wales Truck Repairs, Smithfield.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various heavy vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.
Your expertise in diesel engines, mechanical systems, and diagnostics will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Main Responsibilities:
* Diagnose damaged suspension parts and mechanical components.
* Dismantle and fit new mechanical and suspension parts.
* Removal and replacement of various truck, bus, and trailer parts.
* Quality control and inspection of vehicles.
* Ensure all repairs meet quality standards.
* Label parts and store as per workshop standards.
* Check new parts are correct and undamaged.
* Perform any adaptations based on completed diagnoses.
* Clean work bay and workshop areas.
Requirements:
* Experienced and trained as a qualified Mechanic of Heavy Vehicles (essential).
* Strong commitment to safety.
* Desire to grow and build skills.
* Good attitude, with excellent communication skills.
* High attention to detail and process driven.
* Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in your approach to work.
