The opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Team Leader to join the Business Revenue and Customer Services Division. As a Team Leader, you will lead and manage a team responsible for the revenue collection and customer services across one or more legislative programs. You will optimise resources to achieve service delivery targets and contribute to continuous improvement and strategic outcomes. As a Business Revenue Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
* Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing team responsible for the delivery of data maintenance, assessment, revenue collection and customer services for one or more legislative acts, rebates or subsidies.
* Ensuring decisions and work practices comply with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
* Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the SRO in diverse forums.
* Contributing expertise to initiatives focused on enhancing experience for business customers and implementing programs to assist customers to voluntary comply with their taxation obligations.
* Identifying emerging trends, risks or opportunities and recommend improvements to processes and practices.
* Contributing to strategic planning and operational outcomes.
