Director – Acquisitions Team Lead
4Twenty Consulting & LaunchPad is scaling a high‑volume national acquisitions function that closed 94+ transactions last month and is on track to purchase 120–130 properties per month. We need an experienced leader to structure, coach, and optimise a 10‑15‑person Buyers/Acquisitions Team.
The Role
- Lead a national team of 10‑15 Buyers/Acquisitions Specialists actively negotiating and purchasing investment properties on behalf of clients.
- Coach and develop operators to lift 8+ deals/month for recent buyers and support top performers doing 15–20 deals/month.
- Bring structure, rhythm, and accountability to a high‑output team to enhance deal velocity, quality, and consistency across all markets.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to refine the acquisitions playbook, scale operations nationally, and embed a culture of pace, precision, and professional deal‑making.
Your First 3–6 Months
- Deep dive into the current acquisitions workflow – spot friction and lift efficiency.
- Roll out 1:1s, team reviews, dashboards, and performance rituals.
- Work with Talent to hire, onboard, and ramp new buyers.
- Embed a culture of pace, precision, and professional deal‑making.
Package & Setup
- Base salary $130K–$140K + strong performance bonus ($200K–$225K OTE).
- Remote‑first with national travel to stay close to the team and markets.
- Direct line into the Head of Acquisitions – real influence, no middle layer.
- Huge upside as the team scales from 12 buyers to 20+ nationally.

Compensation
Base: A$130,000–A$200,000 per annum. Total compensation is based on skill and experience, with a clear performance bonus structure leading to an OTE of up to A$225,000.
