Job Title: Territory Development Specialist
A growing HVAC solutions provider is seeking a driven Territory Development Specialist to expand business opportunities and build long-term client partnerships.
This role focuses on developing new accounts, assessing customer needs, preparing tailored proposals, and closing sales while ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Drive growth of the commercial HVAC business within an assigned territory through strategic account management and relationship building
* Identify and target prospective clients through networking, referrals, and industry events by leveraging market insights and industry knowledge
* Conduct site visits to evaluate project requirements and recommend HVAC systems, products, and services that meet or exceed customer expectations
* Prepare competitive proposals with equipment specifications, pricing, and timelines that align with customer needs and business objectives
* Partner with engineering, installation, and service teams to ensure successful project delivery and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
* Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with profitability and customer satisfaction goals while maintaining strong relationships with customers
* Maintain accurate sales activity and client records in CRM systems and leverage data insights to inform business decisions
* Stay informed on industry trends, technology, and competitor offerings to drive business growth and stay ahead of the competition
* Represent the organization at trade shows and community events to build brand awareness and establish thought leadership
* Provide post-sale support to encourage repeat business and referrals from satisfied customers
Qualifications:
* Proven sales experience, preferably within HVAC, construction, or a related technical field
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders
* Ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships built on trust and mutual benefit
* Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and achieve business objectives
* Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite to efficiently manage sales activities and client interactions
* Valid driver's license required for travel to customer sites and industry events
