Job Description
We are seeking experienced local Perth power network engineers to travel from Balcatta to Central North depots in company vehicles, working a 150-hour roster over four weeks. Your role will involve maintaining the backbone of the Southwest Interconnected System (SWIS).
Key Responsibilities:
* Responding to and rectifying faults promptly to minimise supply disruptions.
* Working with locally based crews on planned and unplanned maintenance works.
* Completing construction and maintenance work to company standards.
* Maintaining and developing core line skills in line with evolving industry requirements.
* Participating in pre-job planning to ensure safety and reliability.
* Upholding excellent customer relations when interacting with the public.
Requirements:
* Comfortable working away from home
* Certificate III in ESI - Power System Distribution Overhead (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in construction and maintenance of distribution electricity networks
* HOU and LOU Switching experience (highly regarded but not essential)
* HC driver's licence (highly regarded but not essential)
* Crane licence (highly regarded but not essential)
