Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Trade Assistant/Handyperson to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management group, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and corrective repairs of assets and building systems across our client sites.
About the Role
* Maintain and repair equipment and machinery as needed.
* Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
* Perform routine inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
* Respond quickly to emergency situations and summon additional assistance if necessary.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Trade Assistant/Handyperson.
* Hold a valid White Card and driving license.
* Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
* Good communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
* Excellent customer relationship skills.
