We are seeking an experienced Aviation Welder to join our team in Sunnybank, Queensland. As an Aviation Welder, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing aircraft components, ensuring the safety and airworthiness of aircraft. What you'll be doing
* Perform welding and fabrication work on a variety of aircraft parts and components.
* Work must be performed in accordance with approved Data.
* Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards to ensure the integrity of the work.
* Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
What we're looking for
* Must be CASA approved or capable of being approved by CASA.
* Proven experience as an Aviation Welder or in a similar role within the aviation industry.
* Minimum of 3‑5 years of aviation welding experience required.
* Proficient in TIG welding techniques, in aluminium, stainless steel, nickel alloy.
* Strong understanding of aircraft materials, structures, and components.
* Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
* Commitment to safety and quality standards.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
