The Shed House is a leading Sunshine Coast Hinterland builder, delivering innovative and alternative housing solutions in a fast-growing market. We're seeking an organised and motivated Administration / Accounts Manager to work at the core of our business, supporting financial operations and ensuring smooth project progression across teams.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role that combines accounts management with general business administration, supporting the transition of projects from sales through to construction while maintaining accurate financial and project records.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing accounts payable and receivable
* Invoicing, reconciliations, and cashflow tracking
* Assisting with payroll, BAS/GST, and reporting
* Preparing and checking contract and project documentation
* Maintaining accurate project, client and trade records within our custom workflow software
* Supporting admin needs across multiple teams to ensure seamless project delivery
* Improving systems and processes as the business grows
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in accounts and office administration
* Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confidence using Xero, Excel, Word, Adobe, and DocuSign
* Confident working independently and taking ownership of outcomes
* Experience in construction, building or trades (highly regarded)
* Clear, professional communication skills - written and verbal
* Right to work in Australia
