The role is within the Far West Local Health District (FWLHD) of NSW Health, delivering public health services across nine facilities in Broken Hill and nearby towns.
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to act as a role model and promote a learning culture that supports innovative practice across the mental health drug and alcohol portfolio.
What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Nurse Educator acts as an appropriate and effective role model and promotes a learning culture that supports innovative practice across the mental health drug and alcohol portfolio.

How To Apply
To be considered, please address the selection criteria in your application:
Current Authority to practice as a registered nurse with AHPRA
Holds a relevant clinical or educational post-registration qualification or 3 years clinical experience in mental health nursing and education
High level communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of teaching and facilitation in adult learning principles within healthcare
Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills in individual or group settings using the practice development framework
Knowledge of competency attainment and assessment processes
Computer literacy including planning documents, reporting schedules and Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Word; ability to use hospital systems to pull data for educational resources
Clean and current driving license and ability to travel as required
