About the Role
Are you detail‑driven, systems‑savvy, and passionate about building strong financial processes? We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team and play a key role in maintaining accurate and reliable customer account records.
In this role, you'll support the organisation's financial integrity by ensuring timely invoicing, payments processing, reconciliation, debtor management and customer account maintenance. You'll also collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve queries, support credit management processes, and contribute to effective cash flow planning.
Key responsibilities
Processing daily banking and accurately allocating customer deposits
Managing customer credit card payment processing
Preparing Aged Debtors reports with clear commentary
Producing open customer claims reports with supporting insights
Coordinating customer order releases in line with credit policies
Processing customer rebates and distributing customer statements monthly
Managing and resolving customer claims in collaboration with Sales Administration
Preparing manual credit notes as needed
Following up overdue balances and reducing outstanding debt
Maintaining customer master data and conducting credit risk reviews
Managing PPSR registrations and liaising with external debt collection agencies
Providing deposit forecasts to support cash flow planning
Supporting ad hoc finance and administrative tasks across the team
What you bring
Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable function (essential)
Strong numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
Proven problem‑solving and analytical capability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems (SAP desirable)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organisational, time management, and administrative capabilities
Customer‑focused mindset and ability to build professional relationships
