About the Role
We are seeking a talented and driven individual to deliver exceptional service and support for our range of mineral processing and weighing equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the engineering field, working closely with our sales and engineering teams to identify opportunities for equipment design and process upgrades.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and possess excellent customer relationship management skills.
Key responsibilities include performing installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and process improvement tasks, conducting inspections, testing, problem identification, and root cause analysis.
* Purpose: To deliver exceptional service and support for our range of mineral processing and weighing equipment.
* Responsibilities:
o Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and process improvement tasks.
o Conduct inspections, testing, problem identification, and root cause analysis.
o Support Aftermarkets Technical Support Reps and Customer Service Representatives.
o Prepare scopes of work for ongoing customer maintenance.
o Promote Sandvik products and services.
o Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to identify opportunities for equipment design and process upgrades.
* Requirements:
o Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
o Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, technical reporting, and excellent customer relationship management.
o Other: Willingness to travel extensively, work on weekends, and visit sites at short notice. Ability to qualify for mine site induction.
