Senior Technical Project Manager
We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to drive product initiatives on a cross‐functional team of engineers, designers, PMs, and marketers. This role will manage multiple complex projects from start to finish while team‐leading and coaching people.
What you'll be doing
* Partner closely with leaders from Engineering, Product Management, Design, and Marketing to steer projects to completion.
* Drive multiple simultaneous projects from start to finish and deliver new product features to merchants.
* Manage daily activities of your team, including scope management, project and resource planning, progress tracking, proactive risk and issue management, and communication with stakeholders and leadership.
* Coach teams in Agile delivery and perform Scrum Master duties as needed, including facilitating sprint planning, stand‐ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
* Manage dependencies between teams to ensure smooth releases of complex features.
* Generate reports and provide cross‐functional visibility into status, resourcing needs, dependencies, granular requirements, dates, and escalations.
* Create and enforce cross‐functional accountability across business and technical groups using soft and hard levers.
* Help foster team safety and develop healthy, high‐performing teams.
* Lead and inspire your teams; influence everyone around you.
* Contribute to company culture and collective intelligence.
What skills you'll bring
* 5+ years of experience in web technologies as a technical project manager leading medium to large software development projects.
* Project management, Agile development, and process improvement/quality certifications are a plus (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster, Lean, Six Sigma).
* Direct experience using Agile methodologies to manage projects and coach teams.
* Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheets, and Google Apps.
* Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Superior organizational skills, integrity, and follow‐through – you don't get overwhelmed easily.
* Creative problem‐solving skills; you think outside the box and use logic and imagination to devise intelligent solutions.
