Job Role:
Senior Analyst, MAC Credit Analyst
This is a role that involves analyzing and evaluating financial information for Major Agribusiness Clients (MAC). You will be responsible for assessing credit quality, providing recommendations for approval, and working with the relationship manager to ensure timely completion of credit submissions.
About the Job:
* Partner with the MAC team member and/or Relationship Manager to undertake the assessment of financial information and completion of the credit submissions used for MAC clients.
* Responsible for analysis and evaluation of credit quality and rating of the counterparty as evidenced by financial analysis and individual research.
* Complete annual credit reviews in a timely manner, maintain overdue reviews within risk tolerance levels, and work with the Relationship Manager and Relationship Analyst to ensure covenants/special conditions are actioned in a timely manner.
* Perform other duties as directed/required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assessing customer credit profiles and providing support regarding loan structure choices.
2. Rating counterparties based on financial analysis and individual research.
3. Completing annual credit reviews and maintaining overdue reviews within risk tolerance levels.
4. Working with the Relationship Manager and Relationship Analyst to ensure timely completion of credit submissions.
5. Developing strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
Requirements:
Experience in a banking environment with exposure to Corporate/ Institutional and/or Large Rural clients either as a credit analyst, credit approval or in another relevant capacity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, risk management experience, and ability to articulate clearly in writing and verbally are also required.
