We are seeking an Endpoint Engineer to join our growing Modern Workplace team. This newly created role will lead the consolidation and transformation of our end user computing environment, modernising how we deliver devices, applications, and services across the organisation.
You will play a key role in delivering modern endpoint solutions that are secure, reliable, and easy to use, supporting our people to work effectively anywhere. While you'll provide expert support for complex issues, the real focus is transformation — standardising platforms, automating processes, and helping us realise our Digital Workplace strategy across a large and complex enterprise environment.
What will your key responsibilities include?
Working closely with IT architects, engineers, developers, and both internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for:
* Lead the move to modern endpoint management using Intune, Autopilot, and Configuration Manager.
* Build and deliver Windows 11 SOEs and baselines across major hardware vendors (Dell, HP, Lenovo).
* Transform, Package, test, and deploy applications across the enterprise.
* Provide Level 3 support for complex related technical issues escalated from support teams.
* Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration and policy enforcement.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
* Contribute to strategic direction for this important service
What are we looking for?

* Hands-on experience in leading endpoint engineering within a large-scale enterprise environment.
* Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and SCCM. (multi-site consolidation desirable).
* Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11 and enterprise SOE development.
* Experience with application packaging and deployment based on SCCM and Intune
* Strong understanding of automated patch management and compliance processes.
* PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
* Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders across a large organisation.
* Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or equivalent demonstrated industry experience.
