About the Role
The Finance Business Partner plays a key role in fostering strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive commercial outcomes.
This involves collaborating with team members to provide strategic advice on financial matters, defining and achieving relevant goals and metrics, and using data-driven insights to support decision-making.
The Finance Business Partner leads financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, and supports business strategy across the function.
This is a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review financials related to product development and sourcing monthly to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
* Deliver month-end reports and track savings opportunities.
* Manage marketing spend and oversee the ecommerce platform's profitability.
* Establish robust processes for goal setting and performance tracking.
* Support business improvement initiatives and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency.
* Analyse marketing metrics such as cost-per-lead, lead conversion and acquisition costs.
* Track marketing ROI in partnership with Sales/Service.
* Oversee product lifecycle management, from development to phase-out, ensuring alignment with business strategy through product reviews and range rationalization.
* Drive strategic stock decisions and develop a product development framework.
* Prepare and present investment cases, providing recommendations for profit enhancement.
* Support the finance team and wider business to improve commercial acumen.

Preferred Qualifications:
* 5+ years in a business partnering role.
* CPA or CA qualified.
* Natural flair for influencing stakeholders.
* Experience working with big data.
* Retail / Product / Marketing related experience.
