This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract role.
As the Associate Product Manager, you will support the Senior Product Managers in the day‐to‐day management of strategic category plans, coordinate successful NPI launches and manage the product lifecycle from new product introduction to end of life.
The successful candidate will manage relevant in‐market product category portfolio(s) to match the desired brand position of the F&P group suite of brands (F&P, Haier & DCS) as well as enabling the achievement of F&P strategic goals in their categories in market.
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting the Senior Product Manager in proactively planning and executing new product introductions in market to maximise revenue and margin whilst working cross‐collaboratively with key stakeholders – sales, operations, marketing etc.
* Driving portfolio optimisation and life‐cycle management of the range, whilst developing a strong understanding of the competitive landscape (both retail & commercial) for product category across both Fisher & Paykel and Haier brands.
* Driving category growth via product, price and promotional strategy and maintaining a clear view of the in‐market business goals by providing detailed scorecard information for monthly and quarterly reviews including Pricing Analysis, Category & New Product Performance.
* Providing general administrative support to the AU based PM team, including product data maintenance, website management, management of product samples, completion of NPI set up forms etc.

Based at our Macquarie Park, Australian HQ, this opportunity is best suited to a commercially savvy, consumer‐focused candidate looking to make the step up into Product Management. You will have strong financial acumen and a strong understanding of the product lifecycle is necessary to succeed in this role. As a pivotal member of the team, you will be energetic, have a growth mindset, and proven knowledge in product strategy, selection, pricing, consumer sales and marketing.
You will ideally have previous working experience in a product management role (physical product) within consumer goods, luxury goods, FMCG, and omni‐channel or direct‐to‐consumer industries. A key component of what you have to offer is that you've got a genuine interest in the business and our product portfolios.
