Farm Worker Position
Our organization requires a Farm Worker to perform various tasks related to the maintenance of fish pens and equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to learn new skills quickly, and possess strong communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with net, pen and mooring setup, maintenance and equipment installation.
* Participate in fish transfers, feed trials, feeding fish and health checks.
* Monitor and report predator activity to ensure the safety of our aquatic assets.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* A Master certification (less than 24 months) or MED3 qualification is highly desirable.
* Strong adaptability, ability to handle uncertainty and maintain composure in dynamic environments.
* Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to continuous improvement.
* Commitment to working safely and identifying potential risks.
