The Opportunity We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Team at Port Macquarie Private Hospital. This role will see you support our outpatient clinic and running our Day Programs. You will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing therapy whilst developing appropriate discharge plans within a multidisciplinary team. This opportunity will see you working alongside a supportive team of professionals, passionate about providing the best quality care for our patients. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care. Skills and Experience We seek highly motivated individuals passionate about customer focused care and who thrive working within a Multidisciplinary Team. You will have well developed clinical and communication skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following: Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA Minimum one (1) years of physiotherapy experience in a hospital setting Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice Remuneration On offer is base hourly rate of $38.26 - $59.62 casual loading superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
