Job Description
The Reliability and Systems Analyst will support the Space Force contract at the Patrick Space Force Base in Melbourne, FL .
Responsibilities:
* Perform analysis on launch Range systems and components; conduct research activities on Range system hardware to identify suitable substitute parts to replace obsolete assets through form/fit/function/interface (F3I) technical assessments.
* Review electrical/mechanical specifications, engineering drawings, vendor data, schematics, and wiring diagrams to assess feasibility of potential replacements for obsolete Range assets. Coordinate with team principals and engineering for acquisition and testing.
* Develop documentation communicating deficiency analysis results, mitigation strategies, and coordinate Government approvals.
* Assess logistics and sparing posture of obsolete Range systems; coordinate with Engineering to determine suitable form/fit/function/interface (F3I) replacements and document for approval.
* Resolve Customer supportability concerns through research and analysis.
* Other duties as assigned.
Required:
This position is posted at multiple levels; the minimum level required depends on the candidate's experience and business needs.
* US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer information.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
* 2+ years of recent experience in systems engineering, analysis, or developmental project support.
* Experience with engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and maintenance levels.
* Experience supporting design and sustainment engineering in a systems environment.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment with strict reporting requirements.
* Experience with Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes.
* Flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or weekends.
* Strong technical analysis skills; creative thinking and documentation skills.
* Customer service-oriented deliverables.

* Experience with system sustainment and engineering processes.
Work Location:
* Onsite with hybrid telecommuting options; travel may be required.
Background Investigations:
