We're partnering with Service Tasmania to manage their Fixed-Term and Casual Employment Register, supporting recruitment for Customer Service Consultant roles across the state.
If you have a passion for helping people and want to contribute to your community by delivering essential government services, we want to hear from you.About the RoleAs a Customer Service Consultant, you'll be the first point of contact for Tasmanians accessing a wide range of government services.
Working from a Service Centre or the Contact Centre, you'll assist customers in person or over the phone with a variety of transactions and enquiries.This is a fantastic opportunity to gain meaningful experience in a government environment, whether you are early in your career, returning to the workforce, or seeking flexible employment.LocationsWe are currently seeking expressions of interest across:Devonport - Part Time - Wed, Thurs, Fri one weekOther week - Thurs, FriWhat You'll Be DoingDelivering accurate, friendly and efficient customer serviceProcessing transactions and handling customer enquiriesManaging confidential information with care and professionalismUsing a range of systems and tools to support customer interactionsWorking collaboratively in a supportive team environmentTo be considered, you'll need to:Complete a brief screening chat after applyingProvide two qualified refereesParticipate in a competency-based interview and role playUndertake skills testingBe willing to undergo a National Police Check prior to commencementDesirablePrevious experience in customer service, retail, or contact centresA current driver licence (for mobility between service sites if needed)What's in it for you?
