This is a long-term FIFO role suited to Heavy Diesel Mechanics who enjoy autonomy, high-end tooling, and a strong, supportive team culture.

The Role:
This position blends hands-on field service work with autonomy across a busy open-cut mining environment. You'll be keeping critical mobile plant running, responding to breakdowns, and delivering high-quality maintenance work across the site.
Diagnostics, breakdowns, and scheduled maintenance on heavy mobile mining fleets
Hands-on with industry-leading diggers, trucks, dozers, grinders and ancillary gear
Contribute to a high-performing, safety-first team
Opportunities to upskill and step into senior or specialist positions over time
What You'll Need:
Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent)
RIO Tinto Inducted - highly desirable
Experience with major mining OEMs (Liebherr, CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu) - Preferred
Strong safety focus, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently
Must pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screen
