The Project
We are undertaking a time-critical migration of a client's legacy SharePoint 2010 intranet to SharePoint Online. The program will commence with a 3-month Discovery phase and is expected to extend through delivery and Transition into Service. The role demands a highly hands-on Project Manager with proven experience operating in fast-moving environments. Please note that this role requires Baseline Security Clearance as a minimum.
The location for this role is Canberra however can be performed remotely from other East Coast cities if required.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Discovery phase end-to-end with a strong focus on outcomes
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and RAID logs
* Produce change, communications, and status reporting artefacts
* Actively manage scope, dependencies, and delivery risks
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders across the business and IT
* Coordinate Discovery resources and ensure documentation readiness for go/no-go
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong hands-on delivery mindset (not purely governance)
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to manage scope tightly in lean projects
* Experience delivering Discovery phases and decision-gate artefacts
* Pragmatic, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail
* A Baseline Security Clearance is a prerequisite for this role. Candidate without will not be considered as suitable.
