As part of its strategic growth agenda, the business is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven General Manager to lead its Western Australian operations and drive significant revenue expansion.
Your new role
As General Manager for WA, you will be responsible for the overall financial and operational performance of the state. A key focus of the role is to lead sales growth through strategic customer engagement and business development.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Driving revenue growth through existing accounts, reactivating lapsed customers, and securing new business.
* Leading strategic bids, tenders, and contract negotiations with end users, contractors, and distributors-particularly within the mining sector.
* Full P&L ownership for the state, overseeing Field Service, Workshop, Distribution, Customer Service, and regional branches.
* Identifying and executing growth opportunities, including new site launches and potential acquisitions.
* Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to support expansion initiatives.
* Collaborating cross-functionally with national leadership and operational teams to ensure service excellence.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in a General Management role, ideally progressing from Sales Leadership into cross-functional business leadership.
* Technical understanding of mechanical systems such as hydraulic equipment, diesel engines, pneumatics, or lubrication systems.
* Strong knowledge of the mining industry, including major operators, contractors, and service providers.
* Experience managing regional operations and understanding the complexities of FIFO service models.
* A strategic mindset with the ability to inspire teams and lead growth initiatives with confidence and clarity.
