Job Description:
The Early Childhood Service Chef will oversee the kitchen's daily operations, including menu planning, fresh produce gardens, and meal preparation. This role requires a strong focus on nutrition education for children aged 6 months – 5 years old.
Responsibilities include preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner for 88 children per day. The successful candidate will maintain a rotating menu that meets the needs of the children, is culturally diverse, and adheres to nutritional guidelines.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, communicating effectively with colleagues, ordering stock, and leading nutrition education programs with children aged 3-5 years.
