A leading, and fast growing Automotive Dealership Group, are now seeking an experienced Group HR Manager.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
**Workforce planning**
Assist the management team, in the planning activities required to maintain a skilled and flexible workforce across various dealerships.
**Recruitment and Selection**
Assist in the identification and placement of talent needs, creation of job advertisements and undertake other talent sourcing activities; screening of potential employees, organisation of and participation in interviews; reference checking, formalisation of contract arrangements etc.
**Employee on-boarding**
Co-ordination and mobilisation of new hires, including conducting of OHS and general induction activities at the company and workplace level.
**Performance management and review**
Maintenance of all records and processes that support an effective system of performance management, that may include facilitating grievance handling and performance improvement activities.
Assist and maintain various audit activities and compliance checks.
**Employee wellbeing and grievance handling**
Provide ongoing support to employees, including assisting with the processing and resolution of grievance issues.
**Workers' compensation management**
Maintain workers compensation systems, including liaison with Work Cover authorities, payroll, injured workers, rehabilitation and other providers - including assisting in the management and development of return-to-work programs.
**Management of compensation and employee records**
Ensure employee contracts and remuneration entitlements are maintained, having regard to Annual Wage Reviews, CPI adjustments, and benchmark strategies.
**Education, Skills & Experience**
At least 5 years previous experience working in a wide-ranging human resource management role - preferably within the automotive industry.
A minimum of a TAFE diploma in business or human resource management.
Strong understand of Australian employment law (including Modern Awards, Fair Work Act, State based OHS laws etc)
Excellent communication, problem solving, time management, and organisational skills.
Must be a team player, able to work under pressure and can modify style in order to work effectively with a diverse pool of employees.
Drivers' licence essential.
Ability to understand and embrace diversity issues, particularly arising out of a large overseas workforce.
