We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate VR GPs to join various Aged Care facilities.
This role offers a unique blend of telehealth and face‑to‑face consultations, focusing on the monitoring and assessment of elderly patients.
About the Role
Gain experience in both telehealth and in‑person consultations, which can enrich your clinical practice and adaptability. The role will allow you to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and other healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Telehealth Consultations: Conduct virtual consultations using Microsoft Teams for residents in aged care facilities.
* Face‑to‑Face Visits: Travel to the aged care facility approximately once a month to perform on‑site assessments and care.
* Preparation: Verify Teams links for consultations, access and review NH's IT systems, and examine previous consultation notes.
* Consultation Execution: Address pending results, carry out consultations, complete required paperwork, and collaborate with the nursing staff.
* Documentation: Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed, signed, and sent to the nursing staff.
Salary/Benefits
* Contracts: $180-$275+GST per hour for VR GPs on a casual contract position - hourly rate depending on locations
