Sport Development Officer

Job Description
The role supports youth development by delivering engaging training sessions to build skills and confidence.
The officer works with the Tournament Coordinator to plan and run club tournaments, maintaining strong communication with parents, players and staff.
Reporting to the Head of Football Operations, the officer manages team logistics, event coordination and club communications in line with EVO's marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver training sessions for youth players to develop skills and foster growth.
* Support player progression through structured coaching programs aligned with EVO Football objectives.
* Collaborate with the Tournament Co-ordinator to plan and coordinate club-level events and tournaments.
* Liaise effectively with parents, players and EVO Football staff members to ensure clear communication.
* Create promotional materials and club communication initiatives to foster community engagement.
* Report on team logistics, including scheduling, equipment management and competition coordination.
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of EVO Football programs and initiatives.
Essential Criteria
* Experience in a sporting development role, particularly with youth player training, coaching and development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build rapport with parents, players and staff.
* Demonstrated organisational and planning skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Experience creating promotional content and managing communications that support development programs and community participation.
Desired Criteria
Futsal C License and previous experience in Futsal tournaments.
