* Salary: RN/M2C $87,416 - $110,497 p.a. (pro rata) + Superannuation + Leave Loading + Salary Sacrifice Benefits
* Temporary Part Time role working 38 hours per fortnight up to 19 June 2026

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

An opportunity to work as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse within Community Nursing, delivering person-centred, evidence-based care to people living with diabetes. This role focuses on education, self-management support, and hospital avoidance, while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team across the community setting.

* A Registered Nurse with demonstrated experience and competence in diabetes care or chronic disease management
* A strong communicator with the ability to educate, engage, and support clients from diverse backgrounds

* A motivated professional willing to undertake further training in diabetes education and specialist practice

WHERE AND HOW YOU WILL WORK

Tanunda, located in the heart of South Australia's renowned Barossa Valley, is a vibrant town known for its picturesque vineyards and strong community spirit. Serving this close-knit community, Tanunda War Memorial Hospital provides essential healthcare services with a focus on compassionate, patient-centred care. The hospital plays a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of residents across the region, offering a range of nursing, midwifery, and allied health services in a friendly and supportive environment.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

* Provide specialist diabetes education and clinical nursing care to clients and their families in the community
* Triage referrals, manage waitlists, and coordinate appointments for the diabetes nursing service
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive client outcomes and continuity of care
* Support quality improvement, clinical education, and evidence-based practice within Community Nursing
