Clinical Nurse Educator Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Educator.

About the Job
The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for providing direct clinical support and instruction to, and mentoring for graduate nurses, early career nursing staff and students that is responsive to local and organisational priorities. The role requires the development of the foundational specialty knowledge required to deliver high quality mental health nurse care to consumers.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with other members of the Learning & Teaching Directorate and with staff across the mental health program.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct clinical support and instruction to, and mentoring for graduate nurses, early career nursing staff and students.
* Develop the foundational specialty knowledge required to deliver high quality mental health nurse care to consumers.
* Work closely with other members of the Learning & Teaching Directorate and with staff across the mental health program.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor of Nursing or other recognised equivalent formal qualification in Australia.
* Condition free registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australian (NMBA) via AHPRA.
* Post Registration or Post Graduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing (Masters Level Preferred).
* Experience working in acute mental health.
* Previous experience in a clinical education role (desirable).
