Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential houses in Geraldton. You will work closely with our team to ensure that we are providing high-quality support and care to our young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build relationships with young people through active engagement and visible interest.
* Maintain a safe environment by ensuring the home is emotionally and physically secure, stimulating, and appropriately engaging.
* Develop and implement Departmental Case Plans and LWB Case/Care plans that drive service delivery.
* Lead and manage a team of Residential Support Workers, providing reflective supervision and supporting staff to apply Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) principles.
* Coordinate rosters to ensure staffing levels meet the needs of young people living in the house.
* Support transitions for new young people entering the service and those moving to permanent homes or step-down services.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar qualification.
* Experience working with young people who have experienced trauma and disadvantage.
* Management experience in 24-hour residential services for vulnerable people.
* Team leadership skills, including crisis management and dealing with complex situations.
* Australian Driver's Licence and First Aid/CPR certificates.
