About the Role (5 year - Fixed term position)
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and strategic leader to take on the role of Service Manager Traffic and Major Projects. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects and shaping a safe, connected, and integrated transport network for our growing community.
Reporting to the Group Manager Assets and Projects, you will lead teams across Major Projects, Community Infrastructure Planning, Design, and Traffic & Transport, ensuring outcomes align with the City's strategic objectives and Project Management Framework.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the City's capital works program from initiation to delivery.
* Driving transport and traffic planning frameworks and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
* Managing governance, compliance, budgets, and contractor performance.
* Leading a team to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.
About you

Besides demonstrated experience, you'll need to have:
* Tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture, project/construction management.
