About The Role
Based in the stunning Manning Valley, we are looking for a dynamic, motivated Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) to oversee the day-to-day running of our brand-new Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) at Manning Hospital. This service provides continuity of midwifery care and support to low-risk women in the community throughout their pregnancy journey. This is a highly sought after model of care that both the Registered Midwives and their patients enjoy. On any given day, you will enjoy a blend of both clinical and management work, including running multidisciplinary team meetings, triaging women, managing the maternity workforce through rostering and performance management, and being the point of contact between the MGP and the core Maternity Unit within the hospital. You won't be working alone. You'll be supported by the MUM within the hospital's maternity unit, as well as the Clinical Midwifery Consultant (CMC) and further WHAM Network colleagues. Requirements
Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with (AHPRA), as well as relevant post-graduate qualifications or experience in management.

All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
