The Opportunity
The National Security TAFE Centre of Excellence builds knowledge, skills, and processes to develop Australia's sovereign capability and ensure its capacity to build sovereign manufacturing, digital and technology capabilities, and enhance and protect Australia's national security.
The Project Manager is responsible for providing project management and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of agreed business outcomes within defined budgets, schedules, and quality standards. The role oversees the planning, design, delivery, and closure of projects within an established governance framework, while monitoring and reporting on progress to ensure accountability and transparency.
What We're Looking For
Proven high level leadership skills to effectively manage a multi-faceted, complex and sensitive projects and deal with competing pressures and tight timeframes, manage contracts and identify and assess risks.
Proven ability to prioritise and manage a multi-disciplinary project team and related resources, influence and maintain commercial standards of operation, use lateral and creative thinking and exercise sound judgement to make decisions and solve problems.
Experience in undertaking strategic project management functions including developing, implementing and advising on complex plans, strategies, business cases, policies and procedures.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
