About the Opportunity
As a Digital Health Lead within our Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), you will play a pivotal role in bridging clinical insight with digital innovation by driving the successful planning, implementation and optimisation of mission-critical digital health systems across NSW Health, working collaboratively across clinical, digital and operational teams. This role focuses on delivering impactful solutions that advance patient care and transform clinical practice in complex, state-wide environments. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead high-visibility digital transformation programs within NSW Health, shaping the adoption and optimisation of enterprise systems like Epic and other core clinical platforms while partnering with clinical leaders, technical architects and operational leads to elevate care delivery and system performance across the NSW Health ecosystem
In this role, you will:
* Lead the end-to-end implementation of major digital health programs, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to agreed quality and clinical safety standards.
* Provide authoritative clinical advice to inform system configuration, design decisions and implementation strategies for digital solutions.
* Partner with senior clinical, technical and operational stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, fit-for-purpose digital solutions.
* Drive change management, risk mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives across state-wide digital health programs.
* Lead and develop a team, supporting workforce planning, performance management and a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Brings tertiary qualifications in a health discipline (Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health, Health Information Management) and/or extensive experience working within a public healthcare environment.
* Has a proven track record leading complex digital health or clinical system implementations in large, multi-stakeholder settings.
* Provides confident, evidence-based clinical and strategic advice, with strong capability in analysing data to inform decision-making and program direction.
* Is an experienced people leader, skilled in change leadership, stakeholder engagement and navigating competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
* Is adaptable and resilient, comfortable working flexibly (including out-of-hours where required) to meet operational and program delivery needs.
You will succeed in this role if you:
* Enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same.
* Are motivated by tight deadlines and problem solving on the go.
* Can juggle multiple priorities while staying calm and outcome focused.
* Thrive when collaborating with others to deliver results in a fast moving space.
