About the Role
We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Radiographer to join our dynamic team within the Angiography and Hybrid departments at The Mater Hospital, North Sydney.
* In this position you will provide technical support and expertise in relation to radiological and imaging requirements and assist with the efficient & safe running of the Angiography/Hybrid suites.
* You will also support the departments in radiation management, fulfilling the responsibilities of a radiation safety officer.
* Duties are to be performed as an essential member of a cohesive team, who is reliable and enthusiastic.
* To be successful you will be able to work within the Angiography and Hybrid Suites for procedures such as cardiac and peripheral intervention, cardiac electrophysiological studies and catheter ablations and interventional radiology.
* The successful applicant will be expected to work over a Monday to Friday rotating roster, on call overnights and over the weekend.

* Salary: 41.64 – 57.36 AUD base per hour
About You
We are seeking a skilled and energetic radiographer with a passion for patient-centred care. If you have experience in cardiac catheter lab, interventional radiology and vascular lab settings, we would love to hear from you.
* Completed Bachelor of Science Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration.
* Current NSW EPA Radiation Licence.
* Minimum 3 years post graduate experience.
* Experience with Siemens and Philips software applications.
* Strong background in radiation safety and legislation, including experience working with the EPA, ensuring all medical staff have appropriate licences and other multi-disciplinary staff are educated and follow radiation safety protocols.
* Demonstrated experience participating in accreditation procedures ensuring standards are met and in establishing clinical protocols.

About The Mater
In this role you will be based at The Mater hospital, North Sydney.
* One of Sydney's premier private hospitals.
* Close to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway.
* The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
* Core specialties include obstetrics, orthopaedics, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ENT, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
