Your new role
As a State Sales Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will :
* Develop and execute sales plans, targets, and budgets in alignment with national strategies to ensure sales performance.
* Analyse regional market data to identify business opportunities and report on market environment monthly.
* Manage and develop team members while fostering a positive work culture in line with the Novo Nordisk Way.
* Conduct monthly face‑to‑face field visits with team members for effective performance management and development.
* Oversee team administration, including recruitment, budget management, and compliance with policies and ethics, ensuring high‑quality reporting.
* Identify and develop creative initiatives to drive your region's sales and market dynamics.
Your new department
As a State Sales Manager, you will report directly to the Sales Director and play a pivotal role in driving Novo Nordisk's sales activities. Our sales team is dedicated to promoting and selling our innovative products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other institutions. Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a new State Sales Manager who will enjoy working in a high‑paced, dynamic environment. You'll bring with you :
* Tertiary qualifications in Life Sciences, Nursing, Paramedical, or a business‑related field (preferred). Must also have Medicines Australia Continuing Education Programme Certificate. Formal management qualification is desired.
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Field Sales Manager in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Previous experience as a Hospital Sales Representative (HSR) or General Practitioner (GP) representative is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in managing and developing sales teams. Experience with training and / or key accounts is desirable. A creative approach to driving your business.
* Current driver's license and active driving experience.
* Must be either an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
