About the role
We're seeking a dedicated Assistant Planner & Merchandiser to join the team at Purebaby - a leading Australian children's clothing and accessories brand. As an Assistant Planner & Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the visual appeal and optimal product placement across our retail, ecommerce and wholesale channels.
What you'll be doing
* Collaborate with the Head of Planning to develop and implement effective merchandising and planning strategies
* Monitor and replenish stock levels in stores, ecommerce and wholesale to meet customer demand
* Provide support in the planning, coordination and execution of non-seasonal product development, launches and campaigns
* Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
* Effectively coordinate stock movement across channels for maximum sales and best margins
What we're looking for
* 1-2 years' experience as a planner or in merchandising or retail trading support role, preferably within the fashion/retail industry
* Strong attention to detail and an eye for design and visual presentation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with store teams
* Proficient in using planning software and tools - including setting up Ai bots and automation
* Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
