A bit about the role…
The primary purpose of the Career Development Workshop Coordinator is to work closely with transitioning ADF members to provide advice and guidance on upskilling for current jobs, cross-skilling within their current occupation, or transitioning to new roles.
This includes recommending training and education pathways and options.
With a strong understanding of the Australian Defence Force, you will deliver Job Search Preparation Workshops and career transition coaching, assisting members of all ranks transitioning from military to civilian employment.
Workshops focus on enhancing their ability to manage their careers and prepare for job searches.
The role covers end-to-end requirements, from understanding individual work styles to preparing for interviews through workshops and 1:1 coaching.
This is a permanent full-time role based in our Canberra Office.

About you…
Role Requirements - highly preferred:
Facilitating Job Search Preparation Workshops in person and virtually, focusing on empowering participants to manage their careers and job searches
Assessing individuals' skills, strengths, preferences, and gaps via interviews, discussions, and testing using proven assessment tools
Delivering workshops to members of all ranks to enhance their career management and job search skills
High-level administrative skills to support office functions
Experience within ADF and/or ADF transition
Program Requirements - all mandatory:
Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance or higher
Highly preferred:
5 years' experience in employment services or community services sector
Cert IV in Career Development (or similar)
Relevant educational qualifications
Career Development qualifications
4 years of full-time ADF service in the last 5 years
Ability to obtain a Blue Card and pass a National Police Check
