About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to join our research team as a Research Assistant.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Dr David Mizrahi across multiple research projects that investigate exercise and physical activity for children impacted by cancer.

The successful applicant will assist in delivering an online exercise clinical trial, conducting remote physical assessments, and managing study-related activities such as data management and ethics applications.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:

* Conduct and deliver research protocols, including remotely delivering online assessments and exercise programs, and managing the activity trackers and study packs for young participants and their families.
">
* Coordinate grant applications, ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
">
* Provide guidance on research regulations and ensure projects adhere to policies and standards.
">
* Assist in collecting and analysing data, maintaining accuracy and quality.
">
* Collaborate with stakeholders to share research findings and drive program progress.
">
* Manage documentation for research publications and maintain detailed records.
">
* Contribute to the production of reports and compliance initiatives.
">
* Undertake purchasing, payment processing, and general administrative tasks.
">
* Prioritise and promote health and safety in all research activities.
">

About You
">
">
* Hold a tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or a related field.
">
* Be registered with AHPRA or ESSA.
">
* Have clinical skills delivering fitness assessments and exercise programs.
">
* Experience with telehealth is beneficial.
">
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
">
* Knowledge of research software and methodologies.
">
* Commitment to maintaining compliance and integrity in all activities.
">
* Experience in mixed-method research (quantitative and qualitative).
">
* Experience working with children (healthy or clinical) or cancer patients will be highly advantageous.
