This position is ongoing part-time (18.75 hours per week), however flexibility will be considered for appointment to the role and the hours can be split between multiple successful applicants.
Key Requirements
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (General Surgery) or equivalent
* Current medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
* Demonstrated experience in general surgical procedures
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Commitment to quality patient outcomes and safety
You will play a pivotal role in providing safe, evidence-based, and patient-focused care, while contributing to teaching, research, and clinical leadership.
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, and appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
