About the role
This person will work as part of a team, ensuring all equipment is operating as designed and in accordance with agreed service levels. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who is willing to contribute to team goals, while working safely and responsibly. Day-to-day tasks will include but not be limited to:
* Operate and monitor the baggage system in line with design specifications and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
* Maintenance - preventative, reactive and corrective
* Emergency response tasks
* Keeping tools and materials in good, safe, working order
* Instructing staff and other stakeholders on the system
* Working in a variety of environments, and climatic conditions
* Completing paperwork and reports - both physical and electronic
Work schedule
You will need to be comfortable doing shift work as this role works on a rotating schedule, on a 21-day cycle. Morning shift – 3am – 1pm & Afternoon shift 1pm – 10.30pm. Shift pattern – 3 early, 4 late, 3 off, 4 early, 3 late, 4 off.
