About You
* Live in and can support our customers in the Cairns and surrounding areas
* Hold an Australian Driver's Licence and own car (no international licence/shared vehicles)
* Available to work a minimum of 6 hours per day within the hours of 7am – 6pm, ideally across 3–4 weekdays (some weekend rosters available for experienced Carers)
* Able to complete our paid 2-week training program
* Seeking in-home aged care work (not disability or facility-based care)
What We Offer
* Open to entry-level and experienced carers
* $31.13 – $34.93 per hour + super
* Paid travel time + $1.38/km allowance
* Permanent Contract hours:
o New Entrants: 20 - 30 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
o Experienced Carers (12+ months experience): 20 – 50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
Your Role
As a valued team member, you'll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role – this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers. From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you'll make a real difference in people's lives every day.
* Entry-level: Cleaning, laundry, meal prep and household support
* Experienced: Personal care (showering, toileting, medications) plus social support
* Most importantly provide companionship and brighten someone's day
