The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our Hospital Environmental Services Team. You will be responsible for;
Delivering patient meals and mid mealsKeeping a clean, tidy and hygienic kitchen environmentWashing up after meal deliveryBasic food preparation whilst offering high standards of quality and service to customers and patients.
You must have flexibility to work weekdays and some weekends (including public holidays) across morning/afternoon shifts. This position will be permanent part-time 60hrs per fortnight.

Ability to work cohesively in a team environmentA ‘can do’ attitude with a friendly dispositionPrevious experience in a commercial kitchen environment (desirable)Excellent customer serviceMeticulous attention to detailKnowledge of safe food handling practices and high standards of cleanliness.
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate of $27.30 - $29.83 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
